#MTOS – 13th September 2015 Hosted by Scott Ballantyne (@Moosedog23)

Hello #MTOS universe!

I wanted to try something a little different for my #MTOS hosting, and so in a twist to the normal format, I will be giving the answers and anyone taking part has to supply the questions.

I welcome you to MTOS Jeopardy.

I’m hoping that we’ll have some funny responses and some serious responses but most importantly, I’m hoping (and praying) that we’ll have some fun!

Some of the answers are purposely vague, in the hope that they will allow a huge range of questions…

Remember though, that on this occasion to reply with Q1 etc... rather than the traditional A1 etc… and don’t forget the hashtag #MTOS and follow me @Moosedog23 to take part.

Anyway, enough of my rambling… Here are the answers.

A1. Nobody Does It Better

A2. Tom Cruise

A3. Indiana Jones and the Temple of Doom

A4. James Cameron

A5. The greatest film of all time

A6. The best titled film

A7. The worst ‘Best Picture’ Oscar winner

A8. The films of Paul W.S. Anderson

A9. George Lucas

A10. The most anticipated film of 2016

What do you like the most about films - I like to see life in 2D and - usually- in black and white! ;-)

Why did you choose the topic for #MTOS - I've been a lifelong fan of the Carry Ons, written several books on them including "The Carry On Companion" (1996) and "The Carry on Story" (2005), as well as moderated 30 full-length audio commentaries with the cast and crew.

What are your Top 5 Favourite Films -(An impossible question but anyway)
1. Ghostbusters
2. Tremors
3. Starship Troopers
4. Planes, Trains & Automobiles
5. Empire Strikes Back

(My complete list can be found here  http://letterboxd.com/screenone/list/my-top-250-films/  (Although past 100 has been ordered yet)

What do you like most about films? - I just love that moment in the cinema when the lights go down and you are whisked away to another world/alternate universe/Jump into the shoes of the main protagonist. It's the journey no matter how good or bad, and the atmosphere.

Why did you choose this topic for #MTOS? It's something I often ponder on, one of the main reasons I am who I have turned ou to be today is beacuase of THAT moment in a cinema.  Movies from my Youth were amazing.  I started going to the cinema on my own during the 80's how cool is that?!
